The GitHub Copilot app is now available on all Copilot plans. Users can sign in with a GitHub account and use it for agent-driven development from desktop on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
GitHub will retire the Copilot Billing Preview app on August 3, 2026. Users who rely on it for Copilot spend review are directed to use built-in GitHub visibility instead.
