AKS release v20260925 adds GA identity bindings, preview support for Ubuntu 26.04 and Windows Server 2022 to 2025 OS SKU migration, and includes multiple behavioral changes, bug fixes, and component updates across Kubernetes versions. It also announces upcoming VMAS cluster auto-migration to VM node pools starting 2026-09-30 and notes that Windows Server 2022 is unsupported on Kubernetes 1.37+.

github: X25519-only TLS ends for GHE.com on October 7

Starting October 7, 2026, GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency (GHE.com) will stop accepting TLS connections from clients that support only X25519 for key agreement. Most customers are not expected to be affected.

github: Node 20 is no longer available in GitHub Actions

github: Upcoming GHES change impacting uploading support bundles

GitHub will begin rejecting some GHES support bundle uploads starting August 18, 2026 because of an upcoming security change. Administrators should review the new upload requirements before that date to avoid failed submissions.
