Windows App will start using three new wildcard FQDNs for client-side service traffic to Azure Virtual Desktop beginning in early October 2026. The domains are already part of the cloud-side connectivity requirements.

Microsoft Azure added a public preview of Perimeter link (cross-perimeter connectivity) for network security perimeter. It lets trusted resources in different perimeters communicate securely using Managed Identity (MSI) without adding extra network access rules.
